Hong Kong: OFCA, 3G service discontinuation

 

 

On April 28, 2025, Hong Kong’s OFCA approved China Mobile Hongkong Limited (CMHK), a nationwide mobile telecommunications service provider in Hong Kong, to discontinue its 3G services.

 

CMHK must provide 3G services by June 30, 2025, and OFCA recommends that it upgrade its services or replace its devices or SIM cards before that date.
