ARGENTINA: 5G UPDATE

 

ENACOM issued Resolution 2199/2021, which simply considers as suitable bands for 5G implementation in Argentina the following:

• 1500 MHz (1427 MHz -1518 MHz)
• AWS-3 (1770 MHz-1780 MHz asymmetric paired with 2170 MHz-2200 MHz)
• 2300 MHz (2300 MHz – 2400 MHz)
• 3500 MHz (3300 MHz – 3600 MHz)
• 26 GHz (24,25 GHz – 27,50 GHz)
• 38 GHz (37,0 GHz – 43,5 GHz)

Now, by this resolution ENACOM disposes to carrying out the necessary tasks for the availability of these frequencies. Therefore, they will possibly start working in the allocation of these bands for 5G service in Argentina.
