UAE Postpones UAE.S 5010-1:2019, New Energy Efficiency Requirements for Household Air conditioners.
The Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) former Emirates Authority for Standards and Metrology (ESMA), informs on the new implementation dates for the enforcement of the 2019 version of the UAE.S 5010-1:2019 “Labeling – Energy efficiency label for electrical appliances – Part 1: Household Air Conditioners” about EER limits for the equipment.

From January 1, 2023, for UAE market household air conditioners must show the compliance to the new standard and EER limits of UAE.S 5010-1:2019.
