EAEU: RESCHEDULED TR 048/2019 FOR 3 YEARS

 

According to the latest update, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) organized online meetings on March 30, 2022. Authorized bodies from all EAEU member-countries took part and unanimously agreed the transfer period of EAEU TR 048/2019 – till September 01, 2025. Based on preliminary information, the final decision of the Council of the EEC will be made in the middle of May.

 

For your notice, on March 21, 2022, the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission published on public discussion a draft of the Decision related to the Eurasian Economic Union Technical Regulation "On the requirements for the energy efficiency of energy-consuming devices" (EAEU TR 048/2019). The Draft of the Decision initially established date of entry into force of EAEU TR 048/2019 – September 01, 2023.

 

Moreover, the draft of the Decision established new date of development and approval of energy efficiency labels. As well, transitional energy efficiency requirements for certain types of products will be transferred accordingly.
