JNM Global 제이엔엠글로벌 2022. 10. 18. 13:51

SUBTEL has published the new Resolución 2844 Exenta, which revises Resolución 1985 Exenta (2017), the Technical Regulation for Short Range Devices, considering that it is necessary to adjust the frequency bands of the technology called WiFi 6 in the regulations, in order to await the decision on international harmonization that will be made at the next World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23), indicated in item 1.2 of the Agenda for said meeting.

The summary of revision is as follows:

  1. In h) of Resolution 1985 Exenta, for medical appliances.
    • Eliminate "2400 to 2483.5 MHz 50 mV/m at 3 meters".
    • Add “Equipment and its characteristics that are certified by j.1) of this resolution may also benefit from this literal.”
      • j.1) of resolution 1985 regulates the frequency bands 2,400 to 2,483.5 MHz; 5250 to 5350MHz; 5,470 to 5,725 MHz; 5,725 to 5,850 MHz and 5.925 to 6.425 MHz.
  2. In i) of Resolution 1985 Exenta, for vehicle radar systems operating in the band 77 to 81 GHz
    • Replace the statement “maximum power delivered to the antenna of 10 mW and with antennas with a maximum gain of 40 dB” by the statement “maximum equivalent isotropically radiated power (EIRP) of 50 dBm”
  3. In j.1) of Resolution 1985 Exenta,
    • Replace the statement “that they operate in the frequency band 5.925 to 7.125 MHz” by the statement “that they operate in the frequency band 5.925 to 6.425 MHz”

According to the Resolution, the condition to use the band 5.925 to 6.425 MHz is as follows:

  • Only for exclusive use indoors
  • Maximum EIRP of 30 dBm.
  • Maximum spectral density of 5 dBm/MHz
