THAILAND: PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON 57- 66 GHz

 

NBTC has revised two previous NBTC announcements in order to ensure efficient use of frequencies. And in line with the advancement of technology at the international level, as follows:

1. (Draft) NBTC Notification on Criteria for Permission to Use Radiocommunication Equipment in Fixed Operations in the 57-66 GHz frequency band
2. (Draft) NBTC Announcement TCSC Re: Technical Standards of Telecommunications Equipment and Equipment for Radiocommunication Equipment in Stationary Operations Radio frequency band 57 – 66 GHz

In this regard, the Office of the NBTC invites stakeholders and the general public to Participate in public opinion on (draft) the two NBTC announcements above, with details of the hearing as follows:

   1. Hearing period:  from August 1 to October 17, 2022

   2. Comments can be submitted in writing from August 17, 2022 through the following channels:

      ① Submit in person or by registered mail with title “แสดงความคิดเห็นต่อ ร่างประกาศ 57 - 66 GHz”
           The address is as follows:

             Office of the NBTC (Frequency Management Bureau) No. 87 Phahonyothin Road Soi 8 (Somsai),

           Samsen Nai Subdistrict, Phayathai District, Bangkok 10400.

      ② Send in E-mail with title “แสดงความคิดเห็นต่อ ร่างประกาศ 57 - 66 GHz” to spectrum@nbtc.go.th

 

NBTC is also going to hold the meeting for the public hearing as follows:
