VIETNAM: NEW ELECTRICAL SAFETY STANDARD FOR ICT ITE

 

MIC has issued Circulars No: 24/2022/TT-BTTTT, which promulgate the National Technical Regulation on electrical safety for telecommunications and information technology terminal equipment (QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT).

 

According to the circulars, the new safety standard shall be mandatory from January 1, 2024. Therefore, SDoC according to the standard shall be required for products in scope of it from the effective date.

 

QCVN 132:2022/BTTTT is composed based on IEC 62368-1:2018, covering the products as follows:
