The Council of Ministers of the Republic of Belarus (the Council) has issued Resolution No. 916, which suspends the norms of the Resolution No. 849.
According to the new Resolution, mandatory requirements for energy efficiency in Belarus (clause 3 of the Resolution No. 849) are suspended from January 01, 2023 for an indefinite period, until the Council’s further decision.
Therefore, from January 01, 2023, obtaining Energy Efficiency certificate in Belarus have become voluntary rather than mandatory. Other than obtaining the certificate, however, other Energy Efficiency requirements should be complied with.
