On October 4, 2023, the Republic of Moldova has announced the updated National Frequency Bands Allocation Table in the National Official Journal.
Main Changes to National Frequency Bands Allocation Table are as follows:
■ Railway Mobile Radio Networks
: From January 1, 2024, the 874.4-880 MHz frequency band paired with 919.4-925 MHz and the 1900-1910 MHz frequency band will be used for non-exclusive use railway mobile radio networks.
■ Mobile Communication Networks
: 880-915 MHz, 925-960 MHz, 1710-1785 MHz and 1805-1880 MHz frequency bands are proposed to carry out the fixed and mobile communication networks.
■ UWB applications
: making use of UWB applications is allowed in band lower than 10.6 GHz.
