CITC has published a public consultation on "Data Center Regulations”, in accordance with the best international practices in the sector, and its future directions. This comes in light of the rapid development in the communications and information technology sector, and the authority's continuous endeavor, through its strategy, to keep pace with this development.
The regulation aims to create a suitable environment for the expected growth in the sector, motivate investments in data centers and promote fair competition, in addition to achieving optimal use of the infrastructure of the communications and information technology sector, and promote advanced and environmentally friendly data centers.
The comments/views should be submitted to CITC no later than 27 August 2022, via:
